Exposure
Enter the darkroom as one of Britian’s brightest theatre companies expose the very private world of photography. Inspired by Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1966 film Blow-Up, and interviews with a photographer, BLOWNUP charts a relationship from the first photo shoot to the final contact. But as the muse becomes part of the photographer’s art, so their love turns negative.
METRO-BOULOT-DODO put a real life love story infront of the lens and develop photos live on stage. From snapshots of a loved one to backdrops of the largest airship that ever flew. New media meets old camera in this chemical soaked fusion of laid back soundtrack and stunning visuals, including rare footage of The Hindenburg exploding.
