TIME TO ACT

MBD are delighted to announce that they have been successful with an ACE application for their latest adventure TIME TO ACT. The project will allow MBD the opportunity to create a new digital installation which will premiere at the CURVE as part of their Inside Out Festival and will then tour to ARC In Stockton and The Unity in Liverpool later on in the year.

Busy December...

After 10 fantastic concerts at the Liverpool Philharmonic we're finally looking forward to a Christmas break. It was a pleasure working Lab Visuals on this project and of course the amazing presenters conductors and soloists : John Suchet, Kathryn Tickle, Ian Tracey, Alasdaire Malloy and Mike Seal. We would also like to thank the amazing technical team at Liverpool Philharmonic and the many staff members who made us feel welcome.

We Can Can Can

MBD are delighted to announce that they will be working with Birmingham Hippodrome on another project in 2016. Working with Richard Hayhow and the new theatre company We Can Can Can, MBD will mentor the team to create a new theatre show for children based on the classic fairy tale Hansel and Gretel. Liverpool Philharmonic Project

MBD have been appointed as the Presentation Director for both Spirit of Christmas and Santa On Hope Street at the Liverpool Philharmonic this December. We'll be in charge of all the projection within the Christmas concerts and also the direction of the presenters. Working on this project will be The Lab Visuals adding their VJ talents to what looks set to be an amazing project.

2,241 REASONS TO REMEMBER on ITV

With only a week to go, our latest project 2,241 REASONS TO REMEMBER has had a fantastic feature on ITV CENTRAL featuring the community engagement program which has involved Sophie Handy a Birmingham lantern specialist going into schools to create the 2,241 lanterns required to represent the number of Birmingham citizens who tragically lost their lives. MBD has also had the pleasure of working with Highly Sprung on this project, who have delivered a range of physical theatre workshops in Birmingham schools on the Birmingham Blitz.
