participation and outreach
Here at MBD we are passionate about sharing our skills with the next generation of artists and creative technologists. Alongside all of our own productions, we run workshops, half-term activities, training and drop in sessions that give more people the opportunity to learn and create through the use of new technology.
Participatory work takes many forms. Sometimes it will be a workshop or a sharing that is somebody’s first contact with immersive media. Sometimes we will co-design whole projects with people who have no access to the tools we use, or limited experience of working on creative projects.
MBD have the skills, expertise and equipment to get more people involved and inspired. We have a stock of high-end gaming laptops, VR headsets, graphics tablets and scanning equipment. We share the use of our virtual production and motion capture studios and we inspire people with good old fashioned passion and enthusiasm for what we do.
